Mentor

We all will meet a few mentors in our life, a few memorable one. In my mind, I used to think of as we get into university, the life there will be solely independent kind. And yea, I have prepared myself for this, long time ago. So as I went to university, I didn’t hope for meeting some mentor which could really be nice to all the students.

I am an undergraduate, taking business administration, aiming of getting a major in accounting. But I never took any accounting subject before I get into university, this will be very tough for my journey to major in accounting. I am very weak on accounting, it’s a stranger to me, I have to work very hard on it, what I can depend on are my classmates. 

Surprisingly, I met a very good mentor, which is my accounting lecturer, Professor Doctor Noradiva. She is so thoughtful, friendly, passionate, and concerning. She knows my condition, and she puts more attention on me, teaching me and guiding me along, making me gets a better understanding on accounting. She also helps other students who lack of the basic knowledge of accounting, we all benefited from her. Her extra caring moved me, has been time didn’t met a mentor like her. It really helps, now I can have a better picture on what has been taught in the lecture, makes me rebuilt my confidence on this subject. We believed, with the guide of mentor, we can achieve better performance and gets a firmer step to achieve my goal.
